Jabez Huntington m. (2) Widow Sarah Wetmore.
[Like other sources, this source has no indication of the maiden name of Sarah Wetmore or who her first husband was, though it might be the one most expected to know. Since Jabez's daughter Elizabeth (by his first wife), married Hezekiah Wetmore, son of Jeremiah who was sixth son of Izrakiah Whitmore and Rachel Stow of Middletown, it could be that some investigation of Jeremiah's older siblings may yield a clue. For example, Jeremiah's brother Izrakiah married in 1721 Sarah Booth of Southold, Long Island. On p. 112, the son, Rev. "Izrahiah" is said to have died in Stratford 14 Sep 1728, and his widow is not mentioned, so could his widow conceivably be the woman who married Jabez in 1735?]

Additional information, 30 May 2021. Booth John Wetmore, youngest child of Sarah Booth by the second Izrahiah Wetmore, who died six months before Booth's birth, was buried at Windham in 1748 increasing the likelihood that his mother was the Sarah Wetmore who married Col.Jabez Huntington.
