- ↑ Although not proven, this marriage is highly probable since no other Abigail Webb appears who is both genealogically and chronologically available to have married Capt. Howe. At any rate, it is not a genealogical issue since Abigail (Webb) Howe died less than a year after the marriage with no known children. The timeline suggests that she may have died in childbed with the child not surviving.
