Family:Humphrey Doolittle and Agnes Hubey (1)

From van Kempen, ODLR, p 29:

Humfrey Doolittle, clothier, took out a marriage bond in 1594 to marry Agnes Hubey/Huley. (This was done when one of the parties had been married before and also had sufficient money to pay the fee. Therefore I believe this was the second marriage of our Humfrey.)

van Kempen notes the births of four children to Humfrey Doolittle-- but it's not marked which one-- the elder or the younger (the latter of whom married Alice Hardwich on 3 Feb 1595). van Kempen believes these are likely the younger's children:

1. Thomas chr Jan 1595/6; bur Feb 1595/6
2. Jane chr Mar 1596/7
3. Margott chr Apr 1600; bur May 1608
4. Elizabeth chr Mar 1601/2

From 1604, she points out, the children born are identified as those of Humfrey Doolittle "the younger."
