    Hugh Lawson McClung, married Ann Gillespie, his second wife, daughter of George Gillespie and his wife, Elizabeth Carter, daughter of Landon Carter and his wife Elizabeth McLinn, who lived in Carter County, Tenn., were married at Clover Field, the family residence, July 31, 1845.

Gillispie and his wife formerly Eliza Carter, daughter of Landon Carter & Elizabeth his wife, whose maiden name was McLinn who resided in Carter County, were married at Clover Fields, the family residence, Jefferson County, Tennessee, on the 31st day of July 1845.

    Blanch their daughter was born in Knoxville, Tenn. April 10, 1846

    Hugh Lawson, their son, was born, at Clover Fields, June 2, 1858
