The Washington Post of Sunday last gives the following comment on the Ware-Krumbhaar wedding, celebrated in New York Monday at noon:
"The marriage of Miss Harriet Ware, the well-known pianist and composer, who visited Washington last winter, and was extensively entertained during her stay, and Mr. Hugh Montgomery Krumbhaar of Philadelphia and New Orleans, will take place tomorrow at New York. The ceremony will be performed in the Belmont Chapel of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, at noon, the Rev. Canon Jones officiating. A breakfast will follow the ceremony at the home of Mr. Krumbhaar's relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoffman, with a few relatives and most intimate friends of the bride and bridegroom as guests. A musical program will be given for one-half hour preceding the ceremony, when Mr. Miles Yarrow, organist, will play selections from Miss Ware's compositions, including her cantata "Sir Oluf." Mr. David Bispham will sing her song, "How Do I Love Thee," with words by Mrs. Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Mr. Krumbhaar is a son of the late William Butler Krumbhaar of New Orleans.Mr. Krumbhaar is a mining engineer with degrees from Tulane University of Louisiana and Cornell University. At the conclusion of a wedding trip he will return to New York with his bride, and they will make their home there."
