On 27 May 1729 Hezekiah Doane and wife Mary of Provincetown, Mass, sold right in estate of James and Sarah Smith of Dover, father and mother of said Mary Doane.

  2. Estimated marriage date of about 1718 is based on Source:Mayflower Descendant, p. 9:57, "Truro, Mass., Church Records", "1719 Aug 2 Joseph Son of Hez : Doane [baptized]". Per Source:Freeman, Frederick. Freeman Genealogy in Three Parts, p. 57, on 30 Jul 1718, Mary is still referred to as "Mary widow" so presumably after that date.
