    "Happy" Joy, son of L. Joy of this place, was united in marriage to Miss Helen Reynolds of Sioux City Thursday September 9th. The ceremony took place in the home of the bride's sister, Miss Stella Reynolds and was performed by Rev. Kamphoefner, pastor of a Sioux City Methodist church. The ceremony was performed in the presence of immediate relatives which included Mr. and Mrs. L. Joy of Anthon.

    The bridegroom is proprietor of an automobile repair shop in Anthon having established a business here several months ago. "Happy" has built up a good business, make many friends and is well liked by everyone. Before coming to Anthon "Happy" spent several years in the employ of the International Harvester Co., of Sioux City.
    The bride has been in Anthon on several ocasions (sic) and is a charming young woman respected by all who know her.

    The Herald joins the community in extending "Happy" and his bride best wishes for a smooth sail on the sea of matrimony.
