Utica Daily Press, 18? Mar 1940: MRS. HAROLD R. TROSSET A private funeral will be held today for Mrs. Janet Ferris Trosset... wife of Dr. Harold R. Trosset, Utica dentist, who died Mar. 15, 1940 in St. Luke's Hospital. Mrs. Trosset was born in Utica [illeg] 1904, daughter of William and Katherine McGregor Ferris. She attended the local public schools and Mt. Holyoke College, graduating from the latter with the Class of 1926. She was married to Dr. Trosset June 17? 1927. Mrs. Trosset was active in the Mt. Holyoke Alumnae Association and at one time was president of the group. She also was a member of Westmenster Presbyterian Chorale.

 Besides her husband and parents she leaves two children, Robert and Jane Trosset, and  brother, Gilbert E. Ferris, all of Utica.
