Harold and Celeste had seven children, four sons and three daughters.

Harold's obituary reads, "HAROLD O. SWINEHART, 83, of Richmond, died Saturday in Reid Hospital, Richmond. The Willard, Ohio, native lived in Fort Wayne for 73 years and was an interior decorator at The Boston Store and Sigrist Furniture Store, later opening his own business. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Celeste; daughters, Mary Shipps of Denver and Karen Corley of Indianapolis; sons, Stephen J. of Fort Wayne, John F. of Richmond and Robert P. of Atlanta; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services are 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in Mongovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St., and 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Celeste's obituary reads, "CELESTE A. SWINEHART. Fort Wayne -- 1913-1998. Celeste A. Swinehart, 85, or Fort Wayne, a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for 30 years, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, at Sacred Heart Home, Avilla. The Fort Wayne native attended the Cathedral Academy and was a homemaker. Surviving are her sons, Stephen of Auburn, John of Carmel and Robert of Snellville, Ga.; daughters, Mary Shipps of Castle Rock, Colo., and Karen Corley of Indianapolis; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; a son, David; and a daughter, Linda. Mass of Christian burial is 10 a.m. Friday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, MacDougal Chapel. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are to the David P. They are both buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
