    This record is missing the marriage certificate that indicates that the marriage actually took place. Note that the license information misrepresents Mary as being neither widowed nor divorced and implies that McLain was her maiden name. Regardless, in the 1910 census, Mary was clearly living as Harney's wife (together with her 2 McLain children), and indicated that this was her second marriage.
