This comes from the account of Isaac Hoover, a grandson of Vincent and Anna (Huber) Myer of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Hoover believed that these were the parents of Vincent Meyer of Lancaster County, but he was likely incorrect (see notes on the page of Hans Meyer (35)). It is possible that there was a marriage between a Hans Meyer and a Barbara Landis in Erlingen, Bayern in 1709, and even that they were Mennonites, but if so, these people do not appear to be associated with the Meyers who immigrated to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania from Baden, Germany in the 1720's/30's.
