- family dates information found on Warner Sivyer's handwritten notes "Sivyer Family History"
- In Louise Sivyer's handwritten letter to cousin Earl Beese (family genealogist) she wrote: Both Leslie & Bert Sharpe were artistic, they were painters and Leslie was a dancer and did quite a bit of theatrical work. They moved to Los Angeles and lived in the Hollywood Hills way up the side of a mountain above the Hollywood Bowl. There was quite a community up there. I visited Leslie and her son Dick (Bert was already dead) when we were in California in the summer of 1927. Leslie and Bert had two sons - both artists and designers. Robert Redington Sharpe, b. 12/9/1904: He lived in New York and was a designer of stage sets for the Broadway theatres. While still in his 30's he was mugged & killed in a New York Subway station. Richard Sharpe, b. 3/17/1908: he stayed in California. We saw a lot of him when we were there. He kept in touch for a few years after that but after his mother's death we lost touch.
