Frank had a daughter from his previous marriage. She lived in New Britain, Connecticut, at the time of his death. He also had a brother in Santa Anna, California.

Frank's obituary reads, "Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel and at 9 a.m. in St. Henry's Catholic Church for Frank C. Shaw, 79, of 3330 Cheviot Drive. He died at 9:37 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital where he was admitted two hours earlier. Surviving are his wife, Lilliosa; a daughter, Betty Gavin of New Britain, Conn.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Marlow J. McLain of Fort Wayne; and a brother, Dr. Charles Shaw of Santa Anna, Calif. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lexington, Mass." [Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Wednesday 28 May 1980, pg. 12C]

Lilliosa's obituary reads, "LILLIOSA V. McGARY SHAW, 88, died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday at Byron Health Center. Born in Besancon, she lived in Fort Wayne most of her life. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Joseph McGary, died in 1971, and her second husband, Frank Shaw, died in 1980. Surviving are a daughter, Marlowe J. McLain of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Louis Roussel of Fort Wayne, Wilbur Roussel of Alberquerque, N.M., and Aldon Roussel of Okeechobee, Fla.; a sister, Juanita Jacquay of Panama City Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 8869 Auburn Road. Calling from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St., and an hour before services at the church. Wake services at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Lilliosa is buried with her first husband, Joseph McGary, in the Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
