In 1946, 1949 and 1950, Floyd was a brewery worker at Centlivre Brewing Corporation. They lived at 2323 Lillie Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 1950 Wilhelmina was working as a clerk at Hutner Brothers in Fort Wayne.

Floyd and Wilhelmina had no children.

Wilhelmina's obituary reads, "WILHELMINA VENDERLEY. Services for Mrs. Wilhelmina M. Venderley, 71, of 4812 Lillie St. will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Mungovan & Sons South Chapel and at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church. She died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in Byron Health Center. A native of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Venderley retired from Hutner's Inc., women's apparel, after 30 years. Surviving is her husband, Floyd. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where Rosary services will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery." Floyd's obituary reads, "FLOYD C. VENDERLEY, 75, OF 4812 Lillie St., died at 9 a.m. Monday in his home. Mr. Venderley, born in Jackson-town, had lived most of his life in Fort Wayne. He was retired from the Old Crown Brewery after 25 years of service. He is survived by one brother, Ralph, and two sisters, Agnes Meek and Bertha Donovan, all of Fort Wayne. Services are 9:45 a.m. Thursday in Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel and 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery."
