Everett Sapp and Mrs. Lucy Srocker were united in holy bonds of wedlock at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Sapp, Wednesday evening, December 30, 1925, in the presence of fifteen invited guests. The bride was dressed in a brown plaid gown and the groom wore a blue serge suit. The ceremony was performed by the mayor of Blakesburg. After the ceremony was performed, the bride and groom received hearty congratulations from those present, and then came a crowd to chivaria them, who made things lively for a time when Uncle Hiram presented the men with cigars and candy to the ladies. The bride is a daughter of Frank Jarvis of Bunch and the groom is a well known Blakesburg man and their friends wish them well.
