Mary Ann Cummings (1742-1808), the wife of John Boggs (1737-1808) was born a Quaker. Her father is reported to have been Enoch Cummings of Delaware who first married a Fisher and in 1740 married Sarah Miers who had at least five husbands (all Friends).
Sarah was the daughter of John Miers and Mary Haworth (who was Quaker). This family was connected to the Fishers, Bezers, Rowlands, Ozbornes, Blundells, Claytons, and Yarnalls. Mary Ann and her sisters are mentioned in a will of John Bezer (died abt 1750 in Chester) and who was married to Mary Ann's oldest sister, Jane, who later married a Yarnall.
