Elkanah Mayo m. 28 Jul 1776 Eunice "(Snow or Crosby?)" [citing "Brewster Cem. Rec."]
[Note: the information here appears to based only on the following source which gives this date, but no marriage record has been found, so its basis is unknown. Further, on p. 28, Lydia (Mayo) Winslow is said to be the daughter of "Elkanah and Eunice (Crosby) Mayo". Also for Phebe (Mayo) Berry, wife of Isachar Berry on p. 36. Meanwhile, on p. 9, Abigail Mayo is the daughter of Elkanah and Eunice (Snow) Mayo and Elkanah is said to have married Eunice Snow, and Eunice's gravestone is said to be "Mrs. Eunice (Snow) Mayo". As can be seen from the Find A Grave memorial, the gravestone does not give her maiden name. However, the birth of Eunice Snow in Harwich 10 Aug 1754 is found, whereas no birth of Eunice Crosby is found that corresponds to the age at death.]
