- ↑ The memorial page of Noah Warren Ripley says his mother was Lydia Warren. The basis for this claim is unknown. No marriage record has been found. The birth of Noah in 1797, Francis #1 in 1799, did not name the mother, but the birth of Francis #2 in 1802 3 years after the first Francis names the mother as Sarah. No death of a Lydia Ripley, nor marriage to a woman named Sarah has been found. Presumably the naming of a son as Noah Warren Ripley motivated the assertion that her maiden name was Warren, but the basis for Lydia is unknown? So the assertion of Noah's memorial page seems possibly questionable.
