Parentage doesn't seem to be identified in many sources. Possibly Ebenezer Mayo, s/o Theophilus Mayo and Rebecca Smith, b. Eastham 1 Mar 1713? Source:Freeman, Frederick. Freeman Genealogy in Three Parts merely identifies him as Ebenezer Mayo of Eastham. Source:Mayo-Rodwick, Jean. Rev. John Mayo and His Descendants (1015325) does not show any Ebenezer Mayo marrying Apphia Freeman, but this seems to be the only eligible one, and nothing beside his birth and parentage is given here.
