- ↑ The wife is not Hannah Manning, as given by several sources without evidence. The first was apparently Source:Morrison, George Austin. King Genealogy : Clement King, of Marshfield, Mass., 1668, and His Descendants, p. 15, which list this wife as Hannah Manning, but such an identification causes near simultaneous births in Watertown and Tiverton, indicating the author confused two different Ebenezer Kings who both had wives named Hannah. Since Ebenezer's father moved to Rhode Island in 1687, there is no reason to think this Ebenezer was "of Watertown" in 1699 when a different Ebenezer King married Hannah Manning.
