On 16 January 1593, David Stafmaker, from Antwerp, about 26 years old, living in the Annen Dwars Straat, assisted by Barbara Stafmaker, his mother, was betrothed to Catharyne Willekens, from Antwerp, about 24 years old, living in the Warmoesstraat in the Gulden Tralie, assisted by Barbara Willekens her sister.
