Marshall is keeping up its reputation as a "Gretna Green" for western Indiana mixed couples wishing to marry. The last case is that of Nelson Manuel, a strikingly handsome young quadroon, with languishing brown eyes, who was married today to Miss Mable O'Brien, a young white girl, quite prepossessing in appearance. Both are 24 years of age. He is from Terre Haute and she from Greencastle.
