- ↑ Source:Boynton, John Farnham. Boynton Family, p. 233, has rather spotty coverage, missing several children and not explaining how it knows the little it presents. This includes one child for which no information can be found or confirmed. They may exist, but what information has been seen suggests possible confusion, requiring more research to justify including them here. The child in question is "Caleb, b. about 1767", but this would conflict with Sarah's birth (the date of which is unknown to this source). So something is wrong, either Caleb's birth date or Caleb's parents. There is a Caleb born in Hubbardston in 1775 to different parents, but without knowing what fact lead to the assumption of a 1767 birth, we can't tell if there is confusion with that Caleb, or if we are dealing with a different indivdual.
