  2.   Source:Bond, Henry. Family Memorials. Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and Weston (1855), p. 962, adds this correction about David Warren: "Either this David d. in infancy, or, what is more probable, it is an error in the record or copy of it, for Daniel, and may have been the following: Daniel Warren, m. in Wat., Dec. 20, 1733, Martha Coolidge (her parentage not ascertained)." It is not clear why Bond thinks assuming an error is more probable than that David died in infancy [the mother herself d. 2 years later, and after remarrying, the father named another son named David], but the Mayflower Descendant clearly did not, since on Vol. 34 (1937), p. 138, listed Asaph Warren as a Mayflower descendant through his grandparents Daniel Warren and Martha Coolidge, and great-grandparents Rebecca Church and Joshua Warren. Bond shows Daniel on p. 621 and why he overlooks him to the point of changing David into Daniel to fill his need is unclear.
