    [Note: presumably "the Cuban War" refers to wikipedia:Battle of Havana (1762), though this seems somewhat late in life for a man born in 1705 to be soldiering. That, combined with the lack of birth record, and the lack of typical spacing between sibling births, makes this statement, on p. 16, suspect. No such son is shown in this family in Samuel Smith's notes in the Records of Littleton.]
