Notes

He learned the trade of carpenter in his youth and followed his trade until he engaged in business for himself as builder and contractor in Lowell, Massachusetts. He built many of the large structures in Lowell in the early days of the upbuilding of that town. He was a member of the Universalist church. He died in the prime of life, October 20, 1837, at Lowell.
