1850 census: Annotated, compiled by John P. Alderman Christian Stockner came here and married in 1826 Phoebe Haga, daughter of Jacob Haga. There were eight children, the youngest of which was born after this census. Christian was probably related to David Easter's wife who settled below the mountain. He and Phoebe were still here in 1880.
