Grace Littlejohn lived in Church Lane Galston with Charles Wyper, she had children prior to her marriage in 1882 but only the boys bore the name of Wyper, except for Maggie who was born after the marriage. After Charles died she continued to live in Church Lane, supporting her family and others she had taken in, by doing cleaning and laundry. Her sister-in-law Isabella Wyper, her daughter Grace and grandson Charles all lived with her.
