Charles was born in Baltimore Maryland area would move to Huntingdon Co., Pennsylvania and marry his future wife Lydia Crownover. Of Interest is that tax records show that Charles Plowman's uncle Richard Plowman owned 100 acres in Huntingdon County. One can easily imagine that Charles Plowman was working for or staying with his uncle when he met his wife. They would go on to move further west in Pennsylvania farming in the Blair County area.
