Speculative child: Ann Battersby (1) Charles and Mary had a daughter Ann, baptized 24 Aug 1836[2], who was living with Mary's parents in 1841 and 1851. If Anne Battersby Horsfall was born in Aug 1836, as implied by her stated age in her will, she could be the daughter of Charles and Mary, particularly since the surname Moody was associated with her at the time of her son's death. Furthermore, of four Ann (or Anne or Anna) Battersbys identified in the 1851 Census for England, the only one who is not found in England in the 1861 Census is the Ann Battersby, living in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, with her grandmother, Ann Moody.[3]
