Marriage to Carl Erlebach

Lowell Sun, 27 Sep 1917, p. 22

"Carl Erlebach and Miss Marion Matilda Borst were married yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at St. Margaret's rectory, the officiating clergyman being Rev. C. J. Galligan, pastor. The witnesses were Stephen Borst, father of the bride and Paul Holdenrich while the maid of honor was Miss Anna Borst, a sister of the bride. The bride wore white crepe de chine with duchess lace and pearl trimmings; also a veil caught up with orange blossoms and she carried bridal roses. The maid of honor was attired in nile green silk with shadow lace and pearl trimmings. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations. At the close of the ceremony a reception was held at the German-American club, which was decorated with American flags, bunting and greenery. A bountiful buffet luncheon was served by R J Harvey. During the reception music was furnished by Hibbard's orchestra. Present at the festivities were guests from Elmherst, L. I., Lynn, Boston and other places. After an extended wedding trip the couple will make their home at 28 Fairfax street."
