On the Tuesday the 23 of August 1915 Carl Julius Almquist and Miss Nellie Anderson of Lewis Wisconsin surprised their many friends by quietly leaving on the ealy morning train for Minneapolis where they were married and returned the same evening. They were host and hostess to a reception and dance Saturday evening. There was a large attendance and all enjoyed a good time. The bride looked beautiful in a white silk Crepe de Chine. Mr. Almquist is to be congratulated upon winning such a chaming youg woma. They will reside in Lewis where the groom owns a store and will begin housekeeping as soon as their house is completed. At present they are staying with Mr. & Mrs. Ed Almquist. All join them with happiness as they journey through life. ----Frederic Star Sept. 9, 1915 Lois Almquist is preferred.
