Hi Jim:

I have found a William Wright named as father of Ruth Wright (1756-1828) who married Caleb Hazen. She is presumably sister to my ancestor, Hannah Wright (1767-1848) married to Samuel Bailey as 2nd wife; all in Putnam County. Hazen genealogy says: "William Wright is of Scotland."

That is all I have ever found. Have you ever come across information on this particular Wright family?

Best wishes, Darwina
