Thomas Taber's will of 15 Jun 1723 mentions "my Daughter Bethyah Blackwel and to her Husband Caleb Blackwel Blacksmith".

  2. Estimated marriage of abt. 1710 based on Source:Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, to the Year 1850, p. 1:42, Blackwell, Jane, d. Caleb, Feb. 7, 1710-11. Though a previous wife is not indicated in Source:Randall, George L. Taber Genealogy: Descendants of Thomas, Son of Philip Taber, that source is more concerned with Taber than Blackwell, and so in light of the large gap until next child found, Source:Rochester, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records of Rochester, Massachusetts, to the Year 1850, p. 1:39, Blackwel, John, s. Caleb and Bethyah, Mar. 21, 1717-18, it would not be surprising to find out that Bethia was Caleb's second wife married abt. 1717.
