Byron and Stella had three children, two daughters and one son.

He was a machinist and International Harvester Company.

Byron and Stella belonged to St. Andrew's Catholic Church.

Stella was 63 yeras old when she died.

Stella's obituary reads, "Services for Mrs. Stella E. Ryan, 63, of 3431 Vance Ave. will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Mungovan & Sons Lakeside Chapel and 10 a.m. in St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Mrs. Ryan, a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, died at 9:30 a.m. yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital. Surviving are her husband, Byron P.; a son James P., Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Don F. Graham and Mrs. James H. Jackson, both of Fort Wayne; her mother, Mrs. Celia Becraft, Fort Wayne; and several brothers and a sister. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home where a wake service will be at 7 p.m. today. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery."
