Joseph Houlton Sen'r of Salem Village yeoman "In Consideration of the Naturall Affection which I have and did bear unto My well beloved son Benjamin Houlton deceased" confirm unto Sarah the Relict of the said Benjamin Houlton a parcel of land lying to the Southward of My dwelling house being 4 acres provided she payeth yearely ten bushells of Indian Corne to Me and My wife dureing our naturall lives. Also a parcel of land being ten acres one half of the cyder to be paid to Joseph Houlton Sen'r and to Sarah [his] wife, after the Decease of the Said Sarah my Grandchild the only son of the said Benjamin my Son deceased.
