- ↑ There appear to be no birth records any of the children in the family, and in fact, no obvious connection of some of them to this family except for Source:Lapham, William B. Genealogical Sketches of Robert and John Hazelton and Some of Their Descendants (p. 141ff). The information found there appears plausible. As much as possible, it has been supplemented by various records. But it seems to be the only source for some of the data, and what secondary coverage is found appears to probably be taken from this source. Unfortunately, like most secondary sources of the time (1892), it does not indicate how the data was acquired. One can only presume that it is based on communication with some family member.
