    Sarah Jackson Bankston remarried 30 September 1877 in Grimes County, Texas to Augustus Kinsel - Augustus (Gus) Kinsel was the father of Alice Kinsel (the wife of Samuel Houston Bankston (the son of Sarah Bankston)). Gus is buried in the Corinth Cemetery, Buckholts, Milam County, Texas - SE corner next to one of his sons from an earlier marriage. Gus was a Civil War veteran serving as a Private with the Alabama 57th Infantry Regiment.
