An intention of marriage was published 21 August 1836, in Tewksbury, for Asa L. Scarlett and Lucy W. Saunders.[1][2] The certificate was received by the town clerk on 10 September 1836,[2] which may have been the date of their marriage. The births of their children appear in the town records of Tewksbury and Lowell.
