Sandy Creek News, 21 May 1931: NEILL--CROUSE A pretty wedding occurred at the Congregational Manse, Sandy Creek, Sunday afternoon, May 17, 1931 when Miss Inez Crouse, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Crouse of Sandy Creek, became the wife of Archie Neill. They were attended by Henry and Olive and Mrs. F. Scranton. Rev. T. T. Davies performed the marriage ceremony. The ring ceremony was used, by which they pledged their constant faith and sacred honor to be true to each other until death do them part. The groom holds a responsible position with L. J. Farmer, Pulaski, and the bride is a member of the graduating class of 1931 of the Pulaski High School... Pulaski Democrat, 24 May 1956: 25TH ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Archie W. Neill entertained their children, relatives and friends Saturday evening in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary which occurred May 17. Six of their children attended the party-- Audrey [!] Mooney of Pulaski, Matthew Weisenberger of Rome, April Spencer of Pulaski, Marge Fox of Pulaski, Russell Neill of Pulaski and Archie Neill, Jr., of Pulaski, along with their families including 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Several close friends from the Methodist Church and Grange also came to help the Neill's celebrate this special occasion as did Senator and Mrs. H. Douglas Barclay. References
