"Easton Express", Easton, PA, 12 October 1964, pg. 20: MRS. AMOS KING Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Kieffer King, widow of Amos M. King, died this morning in Betts Hospital where she was a patient since Jan. 6. Yesterday was her 96th birthday anniversary. Mrs. King resided with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood E. Beers, 1418 Lehigh St., before entering the hospital. Born Oct. 11, 1868, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Catherine Kieffer. Her husband died in April 1956. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Easton, and Easton Chapter 214, Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bender Funeral Home, Easton. Annie Elizabeth (Kieffer) King and her husband, Amos M. King, are buried in Section F, plot 31, in Easton Heights Cemetery.
