Grandma Myrt moved to Moose Jaw in about 1908 to become Matron of the local YWCA. Some time in 1908 or 1909 she was visiting her cousin Ethel Allcock nee Johnston at their farm near Pasqua. Ethel's husband, Thomas had recently gone to Moose Jaw where he went to the railway station to find a hired hand. Alfred Moffat came off the train and Thomas hired him. Myrtle met Alfred during her visit to the farm and they eventually became engaged and wed in August 1909. They then settled south of Frobisher on their first farm. Several years later they moved to the family farm north of Frobisher.

The following appeared in The Evening Times (Moose Jaw,) Wednesday, August 11, 1909 S4:

Moffatt--White
A very pretty wedding took place this afternoon between three and four o'clock at the parsonage when the Rev. Frank Wootten united in marriage Miss Myrtle White and Mr. Alfred Moffatt, of Frobisher.

Miss Moffat has for some time been the popular matron of the Moose Jaw Y.W.C.A., which position she has filled exceedingly well indeed and everyone around the institution expresses the deepest regret at her leaving.

The bride looked exceedingly pretty in a gown of brown silk trimmed with lace and carried a beautiful boouguet of flowers. She was given away by Mr. Thomas Allcock of Eastview.

The happy couple left immediately for Frobisher, where they will take up their abode and may every happiness and success be wished to them.

Note
A Google search reveals that Rev. Frank M. Wooten was associated with the Methodist Church. See "The Methodist Church on the Prairies, 1896-1914" By George Neil Emery, page 199.
