DODGE-BROWN Wedding at Kittery Followed by a Visit to Bath Friends Saturday evening at 7:30 at the home of the bride's grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Synnott of Kittery, formerly of this city, occurred the marriage of Miss Ruby P. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Dodge of Malden, Mass., and Albert H. Brown of Kittery [date: 12 Dec 1908]. Rev. Edward Mallett Macey of the F i r s t Christian Church was the officiating clergymen. Miss Addie Brown, sister of the groom, accompanied the bridal pair. The bride was becomingly attired in a traveling dress of brown broadcloth with hat to match and carried ' b r i d e 's roses. After a brief reception they left amidst a shower of confette and rice for this city, arriving on the midnight. At Brunsvyick they were met by a party of Bath young people who showered them with confetti and extended best wishes. Upon arriving here the entire party went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. F r a n k M. Smith, Walker St., where a midnight lunch was served and a social hour enjoyed. Mrs. Brown is one of Malden's brightest young ladies and is well known in Bath, having been a frequent visitor here. Mr. Brown is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Brown of Kittery and is engaged in the automobile business in Portsmouth. While here Mr. and Mrs. Brown will be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
