Notes

The subtitle is taken from the overleaf of the titlepage in the 1980 reprinting of this work by Genealogical Publishing Companry. The dates in the subtitle (1720-1789) do not agree with the dates in the main title (1720-1798). The original publication of this work gives the dates in the title as "1720-1789), indicating that the error in this edition is with the title page, and that the subtitles dates are correct.
