Pedro Moncayo was an Ecuadorian politician and journalist from the city of Ibarra, Imbabura. He was politically active during the presidency of Juan José Flores. He wrote for the weekly newspaper El Quiteño Libre.

Pedro Moncayo Canton in Pichincha Province is named after him.
