Longport is a borough in Atlantic County, New Jersey on the Atlantic Ocean shore of Absecon Island. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 895,[1][2][3] reflecting a decline of 159 (-15.1%) from the 1,054 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 170 (-13.9%) from the 1,224 counted in the 1990 Census.
