Clear Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in Skagit County, Washington, United States. The population was 1,002 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Mount Vernon–Anacortes, Washington Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 1923 it had a population of 1550, and was also known as Mountain View. It was the center of a vast timer country, and had a lumber mill, a bank, a general store, a semi-monthly newspaper, and two churches, a Methodist Episcopal church and a Congregational church.
