"7 Thomas Osgood (Christopher), born in Ipswich, 1651; removed to Andover; … The Andover records give no account of him or of any of his family after the date of birth of his child Mehitable (1694). It is supposed he moved from Andover with his entire family, but where is not known. It is probable that Thomas and his entire family were in the Dorchester, Mass., emigration which went to South Carolina about 1697."
