Funeral services for Mr. Don Haddock, 80, of Sulphur will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Carlyss. The Rev. Glenn Berry and the Rev. Steve Shirley will officiate. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today, Jan. 12, at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Mr. Haddock was Baptist and a member of the Gideons. He played high school football at Jennings High and at Louisiana College. He loved to garden and enjoyed singing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Ida Haddock; brother, Gordon Haddock; sister, “Totsy” Moore; and daughter, Lisa Haddock.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina Lowery and husband John Lanier Lowery of Carlyss; a brother, Forest Haddock of Westlake; four grandchildren, Jared Walters, Justin Walters, Tyler Breaux and Brandon Breaux; and three great-grandchildren, Kenidie, Lisa and Brylee Walters.
