Dec. 1608 [sic], and his est. went, after the wid.'s portion, to Joshua, Nathan, Stephen, and William Bradlee, and the w. of John Alling, wh. was Ellen Bradlee. William was call. br. and such prob. was the relat. of the other heirs. ... NATHAN, Guilford, br. of Daniel by w. Esther, had Ann, b. 16 Nov. 1669; Mary, and Abigail, tw. 13 Mar. 1672; Esther, 2 Nov. 1674, d. young; Esther, again, 14 Apr. 1677; Daniel, 9 June 1680, d. young at Nathan Noah as the rec. has, perhaps by mistake, giv. the name of the ch. 18 Sept. 1685; and Patience, 6 Apr. 1688. He next m. 1694, Hannah, wid. of Joseph Tuttle, d. of Thomas Munson, wh. d. next yr. and he m. 16 May 1698, Rachel, wid. of Thomas Strong; and he d. 1710.

    'The first Bradleys are said to have come from the market town of Bingley in the West Riding of Yorkshire, about twelve miles north-east of Leeds, on the river Aire. The town of Bradley was about six or seven miles to the north. ... The father of the first emigrants is not known, nor is the name of his first wife. His second wife, Elizabeth, came to America with the children [including] Nathan ... Mrs. Bradley is said to have come over in 1648.'
